Paid Trials is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology platform that facilitates connections between individuals interested in participating in clinical research and independent third-party clinical research organizations. Paid Trials operates solely as an intermediary and does not conduct, sponsor, manage, or oversee clinical trials.
It is important that all users understand the nature of our platform, the source of the information displayed, and the limitations of our role. This Content Disclaimer outlines key terms governing the use of Paid Trials and the information presented on the platform.
1. Content Ownership and Responsibility
All clinical trial–related content, including but not limited to study descriptions, eligibility criteria, locations, timelines, compensation information, and recruitment materials, is provided by independent third-party clinical research organizations, sponsors, investigators, or their authorized representatives.
Paid Trials does not create, own, control, or validate this content and assumes no responsibility for its accuracy, completeness, or compliance with applicable laws or regulations.
2. Role of Paid Trials
Paid Trials functions solely as a technology platform that enables third parties to publish information about clinical trials and allows users to express interest in those studies.
Paid Trials does not:
– Conduct or administer clinical trials
– Recruit participants on behalf of sponsors
– Provide medical, clinical, or regulatory advice
– Endorse or recommend any study, treatment, sponsor, or investigator
3. No Medical Advice
All information made available on Paid Trials is provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the platform should be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical guidance.
Users must consult with a licensed healthcare provider or qualified medical professional before making any decisions regarding participation in a clinical trial.
4. Accuracy and Verification of Information
Paid Trials does not independently verify, audit, or confirm the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided by third parties. Clinical trial details may change at any time without notice.
Users are solely responsible for verifying all study details directly with the applicable clinical research organization or medical professional before participating in any clinical trial.
5. No Endorsement or Recommendation
The presence of a clinical trial listing on Paid Trials does not constitute an endorsement, approval, or recommendation by Paid Trials. Users are encouraged to conduct their own independent research and exercise appropriate judgment and due diligence.
6. Automated Systems and AI-Assisted Content
Certain portions of the Paid Trials platform, including study summaries, educational materials, blog content, eligibility descriptions, or recruitment guidance, may be generated, analyzed, summarized, or supplemented using automated systems, third-party integrations, or artificial intelligence technologies.
Automated systems may produce content that is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or inconsistent with current clinical or regulatory standards. Paid Trials does not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or reliability of any AI-assisted or third-party content and expressly disclaims all warranties related thereto.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paid Trials disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:
– Use of or reliance on information displayed on the platform
– Participation in any clinical trial listed on the platform
– Errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or automated content outputs
Paid Trials is not responsible for any adverse events, injuries, losses, or decisions resulting from clinical trial participation.
8. User Responsibility and Assumption of Risk
Users acknowledge that participation in clinical trials carries inherent risks and agree that they are solely responsible for their decisions and actions.
By using Paid Trials, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paid Trials, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from their use of the platform or participation in clinical trials.
9. Third-Party Content Changes
Clinical research organizations may update, modify, suspend, or remove study listings at any time. Paid Trials has no obligation to monitor, maintain, or update third-party content.
10. Governing Law
This disclaimer and all use of the Paid Trials platform are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Paid Trials operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts.
By accessing or using the Paid Trials platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Content Disclaimer. This disclaimer may be updated periodically, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
